I recently get back to ML coz I got a M1 Mac that's powerful enough to edit 4k movie and other software features, upscaler, noise reduction, stabilizer to try. In short: a1ex (one of the lead developers in ML project) couldn't continue working in ML project since ~2019, he had to take a break. The forum is active, also most of ML team is in the Discord server for ML, they mostly chat everyday.
